Record-Setting $3M Lottery Ticket Sold At Maryland Liquor Store

One lucky Maryland Lottery player is sitting on a ticket worth seven-figures and broke a record while becoming a multi-millionaire at the same time.

A FAST PLAY progressive jackpot broke records after a winning $2,948,743 FAST PLAY VIP Club ticket was sold at a Randallstown liquor store on Thursday afternoon, authorities announced.

The winning ticket was sold at J&S Liquors in the 10000 block of Liberty Road in Baltimore County. The jackpot topped the previous high of $2.6 million that was set in October 2021 on a FAST PLAY Diamond Mine ticket.

This game began on July 3, 2023 and closed after the jackpot hit.

Lottery officials have encouraged the winner to sign the back of the ticket and stash it in a safe location. They now have 182 days to claim the record-setting prize.
